Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes names three mistakes made vs Liverpool

Bruno Fernandes believes Manchester United gave too much space away, allowed Liverpool too much time on the ball and also made it too easy for them to counter-attack during a shock 7-0 defeat at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

United have made impressive progress over the last few months and the weekend's heavy defeat against Liverpool was not expected.

"We're really frustrated, disappointed, sad because it's a really bad result," Fernandes said to Sky Sports. "We came here with a different mindset before the game but I think the first half was really good from ourselves, we had a lot of chances and controlled most of it. "They didn't create that much but obviously the second half was not our level.
