Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Ralf Rangnick has urged Cristiano Ronaldo to not be as emotional if he is substituted again. Ronaldo was replaced by Marcus Rashford in the 71st minute of Manchester United's 3-1 win at Brentford and could be seen demanding to know why he had been taken off with United 2-0 up.
Rashford made it 3-0 in the 77th minute with his first goal since October 30 and United eventually prevailed 3-1 for just their fifth league away win of the campaign.
After Rashford scored, Rangnick approached Ronaldo, sat in the gangway by the bench, and explained his thinking behind the change.
Ronaldo petulantly discarded a tracksuit top when Sir Alex Ferguson hooked him in the May 2009 derby at Old Trafford with United 2-0 up, having scored the opening goal.
