Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag wants at least one more signing beyond Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayındır. Bayindir, 25, is expected to join United in a €5million (£4.29m) deal and the club are exploring options to reinforce at left-back, with Luke Shaw set to be sidelined for at least two months with a muscular injury.
Sergio Reguilon of Tottenham, Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella and Barcelona full-back Marcos Alonso are among the left-backs under consideration by United.
A move for either Spaniard would be a loan arrangement. Goalkeeper Dean Henderson is on the verge of completing a transfer to Crystal Palace for £20m plus add-ons.
Crystal Palace sporting director Dougie Freedman was in the Old Trafford directors' box for United's 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday and Henderson travelled down to London with his agent that evening.
