Manchester United are said to be looking into an incident involving Cristiano Ronaldo following his side's defeat to Everton on Saturday.

Footage has emerged showing the 37-year-old leaving the pitch and heading towards the dressing room situated between the away fans and the Park End stand.

Ronaldo cut a frustrated figure as he trudged off the field, and Sky Sports report that United are now looking into an incident involving Ronaldo and a mobile phone.

The report goes on to add that eyewitnesses have claimed the incident involved a mobile phone hitting the ground. The Portuguese star was unable to prevent United from suffering another defeat as Everton ran out 1-0 winners at Goodison Park.
