Cristiano Ronaldo has thanked Manchester United's supporters for their backing during Thursday evening's 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo netted his 23rd goal of the season in all competitions to earn United a share of the spoils, just two minutes after Marcos Alonso handed Chelsea a deserved lead.
United were second-best throughout the contest and could consider themselves fortunate to earn a point. Alonso put Chelsea in front on the hour mark, firing home from close range after Kai Havertz flicked on Reece James' excellent cross.
However, United responded immediately, with Ronaldo firing an emphatic effort past Edouard Mendy after bringing Nemanja Matic's excellent pass down under his spell.
