Bryan Robson was most impressed by Rhys Bennett as Manchester United's U18s won the FA Youth Cup this month. United's U18s extended the club's outstanding record in the Youth Cup two weeks ago when beating Nottingham Forest 3-1 in the final at Old Trafford.
United have the Youth Cup (11) more than any other club in the competition's history. Bennett captained United's U18s this season and he scored the final's opening goal with a strong header.
Forest found an equaliser shortly after half-time in the match, but two goals from Alejandro Garnacho soon put the result beyond doubt. ALSO READ: Bryan Robson disagrees with Manchester United fans about Harry Maguire this season.
Garnacho was talismanic for the U18s in their Youth Cup campaign but another player actually caught Robson's eye in the final. "It was great to watch, I was at the game," Robson told the Manchester Evening News. "There were good performances from some of the young lads, who have the potential to go on and be a Man United player.
