That is according to ESPN who claim United have identified Aarons as a possible alternative to Kieran Trippier if their pursuit of his signature fails this summer, with reports suggesting Atletico Madrid have rejected the Reds' opening bid for the right-back.
Aarons, 21, has enjoyed an excellent season with Norwich, who secured promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking after stylishly winning the Championship, but it's not the first time the youngster has been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
