Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to overhaul the boardroom upon his arrival and it is thought he will impose a new directive to be more ruthless when it comes to player deals if it benefits the greater good.
This approach could see Sancho have his contract ripped up amid his feud with Erik ten Hag. Sky Sports adds United officials have already discussed the possibility of shredding his deal if there are no takers for him next year should his exile continue.
