Erling Haaland has taken to social media to show his support for Jadon Sancho, who is tipped to leave Manchester United this month.
The duo played together at Borussia Dortmund for 18 months before Sancho departed for United in 2021 amid a £73m deal. The winger has not played since August after falling out with boss Erik ten Hag.
The 23-year-old accused his manager of lying about the reasons he was dropped from the squad to face Arsenal on September 3 and has refused to apologise despite taking down his social media statement.
Ten Hag stands by his press conference comments regarding Sancho’s underwhelming training levels but has indicated that the player’s future at the club depends on him and whether an apology is forthcoming.
