Manchester United have reportedly ‘asked’ for a meeting with Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies and his representatives over a possible free transfer in the summer.
The full-back is out of contract with the German giants at the end of the season as is yet to agree to a new deal with the club.
He will therefore be able to talk to overseas clubs, including sides in the Premier League, over a possible move on a free transfer when the January window opens.
He would be able to sign a pre-contract ahead of a summer move. Several clubs have been linked with an interest, including United, and Sport Bild’s Christian Falk has now reported that the club are keen to talk to the player.
