Manchester United target Amadou Haidara looks set to remain at RB Leipzig until the end of the season, scuppering plans of a move to Old Trafford this month.
Since the arrival of Ralf Rangnick, the Mali international has become a player of interest for United. The midfield department is one which the Reds hope to improve, with Declan Rice also pinpointed as a target ahead of the summer transfer window.
Despite not being available this month, Daily Mail reports that the 23-year-old will assess his options in the summer. It is likely, with Rangnick moving into an advisory role upon the conclusion of the season, that a move this month would be difficult with Domenico Tedesco looking to make a sizeable profit on a midfielder whose £33m release clause reportedly becomes active in the summer.
Haidara is currently on international duty with his national side as they look to see off Equatorial Guinea on Wednesday and move into the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.
