straight to your inbox Manchester United have added Teden Mengi and Ethan Laird to their Europa League squad and removed Luke Shaw and Axel Tuanzebe.
Laird, 18, made his United debut in the 2-1 defeat to Astana and emerged in the 4-0 thrashing of AZ Alkmaar in the group stage.
Under-18 captain Mengi, also 18, was an unused substitute in Astana.Shaw (ankle) and Tuanzebe are sidelined for the rest of the season through injury and United cannot register Chris Smalling, Dean Henderson or the ostracised Marcos Rojo after their loans ended.
Smalling has returned to United after Roma failed to organise a new deal for him to be included in their own Europa League squad for the knockout stage and Henderson is on holiday.
