A brand new Manchester restaurant, which only opened its doors this weekend, has already been named one of the ‘most exciting’ in the UK.
Higher Ground, a former pop-up which has now found a permanent home on the edge of Chinatown, was listed in the 30 best things about food in the UK right now in the Observer Food Monthly magazine.
The restaurant’s chef Joe Otway was among a handful of people listed who are behind new and exciting projects across the country, and was named ‘Manchester’s most creative chef’.
Higher Ground launched to the public on Friday, with the Manchester Evening News getting a sneak preview of the new menu the night before.
