When the MEN asks Frankie Tan if she wants to feature on I Work in Town, she laughs. Hysterically. The 22-year-old is working the till at Feel Good Club, the café and events space in Northern Quarter.
Eventually, after regaining her composure, she agrees — once her shift finishes in 10 minutes. So the team return, and chat to Frankie, who was born in the Philippines, but moved to Sunderland when she was still a baby.
