Last month Manchester Airport experienced its biggest July on record with 3.2million people either flying out of or into the airport.
It marked the tenth consecutive record-breaking month for the northern travel hub. Passenger numbers were boosted significantly by the school holidays with Mallorca topping the list as the most popular destination in July, while firm favourites Antalya in Turkey and Faro in Portugal helped to make up the top ten.
With a few weeks left of the summer break no doubt more families will be planning getaways in the coming days.
