Manchester Airport has announced a new route to Hamburg. Eurowings will operate a service four times a week to the German city, flying on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
The airline will use a mix of A320 and A319 aircraft for the route. The new route is in addition to a direct service from Manchester to Hamburg operated by easyJet.
Owned by Lufthansa, Eurowings is a budget airline specialising in low-cost flights within Europe. The Manchester-Hamburg route is part of its expansion for the summer 2024 season, with the airline operating more than 440 routes for the first time, according to Travel Weekly.
