The American foodie who rocketed to fame for his cult TV show Man vs Food has been spotted in Glasgow while filming the second season of Adam Richman Eats Britain.
While Adam Richman has refused to reveal where he's visited for the series so far, he did document his first ever outing to Wetherspoons - and donated to a local homeless charity in the process.
The Brooklyn-born star became a became a household name for his starring role in Man vs Food, in which he travels around the U.S.
to sample local delicacies and take on gut-busting eating challenges. In a series of Instagram reels on Monday night, Richman revealed that he and his crew had ventured into The Sir John Moore Wetherspoons pub near Glasgow's Central Station, and invited his 433,000 followers to order their food and drinks.The Wetherspoons app allows diners to order items directly to their table, meaning that anyone in the UK can purchase and send items if they list the pub address and table number.Richman was quick to reassure his followers that unlike his popular TV persona, he would not be wasting money on huge quantities of food, and would instead match any offerings from fans with donations to a local homeless charity.He stressed: "My promise is there's not only some homeless people up the street, there's a mission not far from here.
