Manchester United have renewed their interest in former transfer target Pietro Pellegri, according to reports. Ex-Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho was monitoring the Monaco man when he played for previous club Genoa a couple of years ago.
Pellegri's agent was involved in lengthy discussions with United representatives at the time, but opted on a switch to Monaco.
Only aged 16 at the time, the Ligue 1 team shelled out a massive £21million to get their man, making him one of the most expensive teenagers in the world at the time.
But the striker has severely struggled with injuries since joining the French outfit and has been restricted to just six appearances over three years.
