Manchester United could reportedly miss out on a transfer for Erling Haaland for a second time with all signs pointing to Real Madrid being the Norwegian's next club.

Haaland was linked with a move to Old Trafford at the end of last year but instead opted to join Borussia Dortmund. He has shone with the Bundesliga giants and speculation is already mounting over his next club with a short spell at Dortmund expected.

United are believed to still be interested in Haaland with Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer having managed the forward while at Molde.

But reports from Spain have Real Madrid as favourites for Haaland with Los Blancos having also been interested in him while he was at RB Salzburg.
