Manchester United are ready to trigger Erling Haaland’s £63million release clause but may have to fight off interest from Real Madrid, according to reports.
The Borussia Dortmund man has seen his stock rise even more since making his move from RB Salzburg to the Bundesliga in January.
Since moving to Germany the 19-year-old has scored 12 times in 11 games in all competitions, including a hat-trick on his debut.
Before that he scored 28 goals in 22 games for the Austrian champions which helped him earn him his move away. Haaland is expected to stay at Dortmund for at least another season after joining them in a bargain £18m move in January.
