Championship club Burnley may have offered Manchester United a hint that they would be willing to sell Sander Berge in the summer transfer window.
The Norwegian has struggled since moving to England and has been relegated during stints with Sheffield United and Burnley. However, at 26 he remains well regarded in the football world and there is hope he could still yet come good in the Premier League.
Last week, reports surfaced that Berge had become a target for the Reds as they look to strengthen their midfield this summer.
Erik ten Hag is thought to be unconvinced by the current options at his disposal with the likes of Christian Eriksen and Casemiro linked with the exit door this window.
