The potential departure of Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United might not go down well with Sir Alex Ferguson – especially following the summer loss of fellow homegrown talent Scott McTominay.

The 20-year-old attacker, who was recruited into United's youth ranks in 2020 from Atletico Madrid, now appears to be on the fringes of the starting XI under manager Ruben Amorim.

He was left out of the squad for last month's Manchester derby victory alongside Marcus Rashford and has not started a league game since.

Napoli are eyeing Garnacho as a possible replacement for Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is poised to join Paris Saint-Germain, as reported by The Independent.
