Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney will be jumping back into coaching next month but not for a professional team. Rooney has been out of work less than two weeks after he was sacked by Championship club Plymouth Argyle having won just five of 25 matches.
The results left the Devon club languishing in the relegation zone in the English second tier and left the former England international's managerial reputation in tatters.
Speculation has been rife as to what Rooney will look to do next in his post-playing career. Many have suggested he will look to take the punditry route which has favoured many of his former United teammates.
With Roy Keane looking likely to step back from punditry in the near future, there is a gap in the market for someone to replace him and Rooney could be that man.
