Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed to death in Glasgow in broad daylight.The 27-year-old was attacked by two men on Saracen Street, Possil, at around 5pm on Saturday.Paramedics rushed the man to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he later died.A post-mortem examination will be carried out but the death is being treated as “suspicious”.Detectives have launched a witness appeal to identify the two suspects.The first man is described as white, in his 30s, wearing a light blue top and black shorts.
The second suspect is white, also in his 30s and wearing a white top with black shorts and back trainers.Disturbing footage had emerged on social media showing the aftermath of the stabbing.
A shocking clip showed a blood-soaked man lying on the ground outside a bookmakers. An ambulance and stretcher could be seen laid out just yards away.One eyewitness said: "It was a stabbing.
It is absolutely devastating. Our children hang around these streets. I've lived here all my life and it doesn't feel safe now." Another added: "It's shocking and heartbreaking."Officers are gathering and reviewing CCTV from the local area.
