Police were called to reports of a stabbing in Prince Street, Ramsbottom, in the early hours of this morning (Sunday, May 23) at around 12.20am.
Four men - 'wearing balaclavas and wielding knives' - got out of a car in Silver Street and chased their victim in the horrifying incident, according to officers.
The gang chased the victim, a 24-year-old man, to nearby Prince Street where they 'attacked him, stabbing him multiple times to the lower body', Greater Manchester Police has said.
