in Westhoughton at around 7.45pm on Wednesday (December 9). Police say two men, both aged 22, were approached by two men and threatened with a knife.
The men stabbed one of the victims before fleeing in the other victim’s black Renault Clio in the direction of Cricketers Way.
The victim received minor injuries as a result of the knife attack and was taken to hospital for treatment. The first attacker is described as 6ft, mixed race, of medium build and wearing dark clothing.
The second is described as 6ft, white, slim build and wearing dark clothing. No arrests have been made and enquiries into the investigation are ongoing, a spokesman for GMP said.
