A man was left with 'life-changing injuries' after a horror stabbing outside a pub in Middleton. The victim, aged in his 20s, was found injured along Market Place, beside the Assheton Arms Hotel on Tuesday night (May 7).
Police and paramedics attended the scene following reports of a stabbing at around 9.30pm. Emergency services cordoned off the area amid investigations.
The victim was rushed to hospital from the scene. It is believed his injuries are 'life-changing', with a manhunt now underway to find those responsible. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Officers responded to reports of a stabbing on Market Place in Middleton, Rochdale at around 9:30pm last night (Tuesday 7 May 2024). "A man in his 20s was found at the scene and taken to hospital for treatment where it is believed the extent of his injuries are life changing.
