A man has appeared in court accused of murder after the body of a woman was found in an Aberdeen home. Christopher Cook was arrested following the death of Jacqueline Kerr, who has been described by her family as "a fun loving person".
The 43-year-old was hauled into the dock at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today, where he made no plea.The body of 54-year-old Jacqueline was discovered at a property on Sunnyside Road in the Granite City on Monday January 16.
Cook faces a further two charges of engaging in abusive and threatening behaviour. The suspect was remanded in custody and will reappear in court within the next eight days.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline's grieving family have released a statement paying tribute to the beloved sister and "dear friend".The statement, issued through Police Scotland, said: "Jacqueline was a fun loving person.
