A man in his 30s has been killed in a hit and run crash by a van thought to have been fleeing the scene of a double stabbing.
The tragedy happened shortly before 9pm last night in Chislehurst, south east London, following reports of men fighting. Police and paramedics arrived at the scene and found two men with stab wounds.
Two minutes after the first call, officers were alerted to a collision involving a van and a pedestrian. The van did not stop at the scene and was found abandoned nearby.
