A man in his 20s who was found seriously injured with stab injuries in the early hours of this morning later died in hospital.
The man was discovered at Cherrywood Road, Bordesley Green in Birmingham at around 1.50am, and was rushed to hospital but sadly his life could not be saved.West Midlands Police have now launched a murder probe and said officers remain at the scene as they try to establish exactly how the incident unfolded and who was responsible.The force said in a statement: "We've started a murder investigation after a man found with stab injuries earlier this morning has died."A man in his 20s was discovered seriously hurt in Cherrywood Road, Bordesley Green, at around 1.50am.
He was taken to hospital but sadly nothing could be done to save him. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this awful time.
