Man dragged from Broxburn house and beaten by armed gang in front of child and partner

A man has been left with serious injuries after being dragged from his home and beaten by an armed gang in front of his terrified partner and child.

Cops have launched a probe into the horrific attack which saw a 37-year-old man jumped by four men. It's believed the men stormed the house in Cardross Avenue, Broxburn at around 7.30pm on Monday, January 27.The brutes then hauled the man from his house to the driveway and further laid blows on him with weapons causing serious injury.

Officers from Police Scotland say his partner and child were not injured in the incident, but were left traumatised by the vicious attack.The suspects fled the scene in a white or silver van and drove off in the direction of Cardross Road.

The man was rushed to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where he was treated for serious injuries.
