Man dies at Salford flat before three arrests made

Three arrests have been made following the death of a man in Salford. Officers were called to Grosvenor Road, Walkden, following the death of a 51-year-old on Thursday (January 23).

Officers were seen outside a flat near St Mary's Park on Thursday and Friday. Witnesses reported seeing forensics investigators at the scene.

In a statement issued this morning (Saturday), Greater Manchester Police said three men had been arrested on suspicion of class A drugs supply offences.

They have since been bailed pending further enquiries. A cordon outside the property has since been removed. A GMP spokesperson said: "We are investigating the death of a 51-year-old man at a property on Grosvenor Road, Worsley on Thursday, January 23 2025. "Three men were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and have since been released on police bail whilst we continue to make enquiries.
