Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs slams 'poor' decisions after his Old Trafford departure

Ryan Giggs has slammed Manchester United for making "poor decision after poor decision" in the last 10 years, but he believes Ruben Amorim will bring success back to Old Trafford.

Following Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement, David Moyes appointed Giggs as a player-coach in the summer of 2013 and he eventually became the interim boss when Moyes was sacked.

Giggs subsequently became Louis van Gaal's assistant and he became manager of Wales in 2018, but he was made to officially step down from that role in 2022 and he now works as Salford City's director of football, the club which is partly-owned by members of the Class of '92.

The Manchester Evening Newsrecently spoke to Giggs ahead of Salford's game against Manchester City and the Welshman discussed his hands-on role, and playing golf with Pep Guardiola.
