One man has been arrested and another has been detained under the mental health act after police were called to a house twice within the space of 90 minutes.
Officers were originally called to a 'disturbance' in the property on Car Bank Street, Atherton, at 1.40pm today (Friday January 28).
A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of affray. READ MORE: Man, 19, arrested following shooting in Leigh At 3.10pm, police received reports that a man had been stabbed at the same house.
When police arrived, a man was detained under the mental health act. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) are now investigating to establish whether or not there was actually a stabbing at the address.
