Man claimed police attacked him with baton during disturbance at Lanarkshire home

A man arrested following a disturbance at his Hamilton home claimed he struggled with police officers because he was being hit with a baton.

Hamilton Sheriff Court heard that four officers tried to subdue Stephen Parkin during the incident in Mennock Court. One who gave evidence during his trial said he was so aggressive that she feared she and her colleagues might be killed.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
