City signed Grealish for £100m this week from Aston Villa and made his debut in the Community Shield defeat to Leicester at Wembley.
Pep Guardiola declared after the game that Grealish had been signed for 'five or six years' rather than 25 minutes, as he urged fans and pundits to give the new signing time to adapt to his new surroundings.
And when he does, ex-City striker Vassell believes Grealish can offer the Blues the same sort of creativity they've lacked since David Silva left in 2020.
