Man City to hold Kevin De Bruyne talks after Pep Guardiola admission and transfer interest

De Bruyne has been strongly linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League in the transfer window, and he sparked fears among the City fanbase when he twice admitted that he would consider a transfer to Saudi Arabia if an 'absurd' offer came in.
But no such offer materialised and recent reports of terms being agreed were wide of the mark. Speaking for the first time this summer on Monday in the US, Guardiola confirmed that 'Kevin isn't leaving'. And upon his return City will seek talks with De Bruyne to see what his plans are next summer, when his contract expires. De Bruyne negotiated his last new deal himself, employing a sports data company to justify his position.
