The signing of Kyle Walker has been an undoubted success for Manchester City - he’s helped the club win two Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and three League Cups.
There have been periods of poor form but the England international has largely been a consistent and dangerous weapon from right-back.
Yet this summer Walker will turn 31 years old and City are, understandably, planning for the future. A move for Barcelona full-back Nelson Semedo has been mooted and the Portuguese, four years Walker’s junior, has reportedly put contract talks on hold with the La Liga giants to explore his options come the end of the season.
