Man City hope to sign Erling Haaland in 2021 as Man Utd suffer transfer blow

dailystar.co.ukManchester City are reportedly eager to sign Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland as early as next summer, in a blow to rivals Manchester United.
Haaland has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League having impressed since joining Dortmund from RB Salzburg in January.
The Norwegian forward has a release clause of around £65m, though it’s believed that it does not kick in until 2022. But, according to Sport Bild , City are weighing up a move next summer with Dortmund potentially keen to cash in.
Haaland has scored 33 goals in 26 starts since heading to the Bundesliga, with plenty of teams keeping an eye on the 20-year-old.
