Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has offered up an update on the future of Houssem Aouar, who has been linked with Manchester City.
The 21-year-old has impressed clubs around Europe in recent seasons and Lyon are aware that the player is courting interest.
Aulas has now said that whilst Lyon want to keep the Frenchman, they will not stand in the midfielder's way if he wishes to leave. "The player's opinion is always essential.
Keeping a player against their will is not reasonable," he told the club website. "Houssem has not expressed the desire to leave.
