Manchester United reportedly hold an interest in impressive Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap ahead of the January transfer window.
Delap's permanent move from Manchester City in the summer to the Premier League new boys raised its fair share of eyebrows. The 21-year-old only managed eight goals in the Championship with Hull City the season prior so a promotion to Ipswich was seen as a gamble.
However, the forward is proving boss Kieran McKenna right with six goals in 16 Premier League appearances already for the club.
According to The Athletic, this has caught not only the eye of United but Chelsea too. For United though, there could be an unfortunate catch.
