Manchester City head to Lisbon to play Sporting CP on Tuesday, with both sides aiming to further their ambitions for the knockout stage of the competition.
The two teams are among seven clubs to be level on seven points after three games, and Sporting also boast a 100 per cent winning record in their league this season.
As if the tie wasn't intriguing enough with the news that Sporting's Hugo Viana will be replacing sporting director Txiki Begiristain at the Etihad at the end of the season, last week United agreed a deal for Amorim to become their next manager starting in the November international break.
