November 24, 2024, will mark the official day that the Ruben Amorim era at Manchester United gets underway. United will travel to face Ipswich Town on Sunday in their first Premier League match after the November international break.
The game will also be Amorim's first match in charge since being named as the club's new head coach earlier this month. Amorim has been taking charge of United training at Carrington this week in the build-up to his first taste of Premier League football.
All eyes will be on the starting line-up that the 39-year-old selects at Portman Road, in particular the system he uses. During his time at Sporting Lisbon, Amorim utilised a 3-4-3 formation with three central defenders supported by either wingers or wing-backs.
One player who will be crucial to the system is Leny Yoro.
