David Luiz had an evening to forget as he gifted Man City two goals before seeing red at The Etihad. The Brazilian had only come on as a first-half substitute, but had a torrid time in Arsenal's back four.
First he failed to stop Kevin De Bruyne's cross, which skipped up off him to set up Raheem Sterling to smash a half-volley home and open the scoring on the stroke of half-time.
Then shortly after the break, Luiz brought down Riyad Mahrez in the box, giving away a penalty and receiving a red card for his troubles.
De Bruyne duly converted, and from there it was a formality for City, with Phil Foden finishing a rebound off the post for a third goal late on.
