A man has been charged with a string of sex offences, including six counts of rape. Steven Evans has been charged with a total of 25 offences, police said.
The 32-year-old, of Alton Square, Openshaw, has been charged with six counts of rape and 17 counts of sexual assault. He has also been charged with two counts of administering a noxious substance.

A post on the Greater Manchester Police Facebook page said: "#CHARGED I Steven Evans (17/8/90), of Alton Square, Openshaw, Manchester, has been charged with 25 offences - six counts of rape, 17 counts sexual assault and two of administering a noxious substance.
