A man has been sentenced to over seven-and-a-half years in prison after he was caught dealing cocaine behind a supermarket. Lyndon Hodgkinson, 24, was awaiting sentencing for similar offences when he was spotted by officers engaging in drug dealing activities.
He appeared at Chester Crown Court on Thursday 17 October, where he pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs (cocaine) and being involved in the supply of class A drugs (cocaine).
The court heard that on Friday 27 September, two officers from the Western Problem-Solving Team noticed Hodgkinson outside a supermarket near Western Avenue, Blacon, along with several other individuals. The officers quickly approached Hodgkinson and attempted to detain him, but he became aggressive and resisted arrest, even questioning whether the officers were police.
