A crook who targeted ticket machines at tram stops and platforms has been banned from the entire Greater Manchester Metrolink network.
Russell Victor Stansfield, 48, was convicted of a series of charges and sentenced at Manchester magistrates court on Monday.
Police said after the case he was slapped with a two-year Criminal Behaviour Order preventing him from entering any Metrolink platform, tram or car park on the network.
He was brought to court following an investigation conducted by Greater Manchester Police's Transport Unit Crime Investigation Team.
