A 26-year-old man was arrested on Friday (August 4) on suspicion of two public order offences. Police have not revealed full details but said the offences can leave 'lone women feeling vulnerable' while walking along the canal.
The man, who has since been bailed, is now banned from going on any canal towpath and approaching any female on her own. Join our WhatsAp p Top Stories and Breaking News group by clicking this link. An investigation remains ongoing.
