A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a drive by shooting outside a church in Euston which left a seven-year-old girl severely injured, the Mirror reports.The horrific incident which took place on January 14 outside St Aloysius Roman Catholic Church on Phoenix Road during a memorial service left a young girl with life threatening injuries.
Four other female victims aged 21, 41, 48 and 54 were also seriously injured and taken to hospital.The Metropolitan police confirmed the suspect was arrested shortly before 4pm on Sunday after a car was stopped in Barnet and has now been taken into custody.
Officers and medics from the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance arrived at the scene shortly after the shooting took place.Police revealed a 48-year-old woman was treated and rushed to hospital with potentially-life changing injuries.
The 21-year-old victim was also taken to a hospital in central London and is in a non-life threatening condition.Police discovered at 2:05pm that a seven-year-old victim had been taken to hospital in London after being left with serious injuries from the shooting.
