A man has been arrested after police found a fake gun, a machete and drugs in a 'suspect vehicle' in Manchester. The vehicle was stopped on Epping Street and searched by officers on patrol today (Monday).
Police found an imitation firearm and drugs inside. Police dogs also found a machete inside the vehicle. The items were seized. He remain in custody for questioning. Detective Inspector Chris Chadderton said: "This was an excellent example of proactive work by one of our patrols that saw a man arrested and drugs and weapons taken off the streets." Read more of today's top stories here READ NEXT:
